When is TLC open?
TLC is open 52 weeks per year but closes on UK Bank Holidays. Throughout the year we plan 8 weeks of activities to give students a break from the usual timetabled curriculum. These weeks are referred to non-operational sessions. Students are offered Replacement Days for bank holidays to be taken in Non-Ops weeks.
During the non-operational weeks we continue with more leisure based activities often including educational visits and creative seasonal craft workshops.
Additional Information
Each day of the week at TLC is structured according to a timetable allowing for registration, breaks and lunchtime. There are no additional costs to this service (apart from a small cost for drinks, if desired) as all resources for the group sessions will be supplied. However, students are required to bring a packed lunch daily and are occasionally requested to make a small contribution to the cost of any outings. Hot and cold beverages are available throughout the day.
